With a strong background in global/multicultural integrated marketing and advertising, both on the client and agency side, Jonathan has put together award-winning integrated marketing programs and partnerships for Fortune 500 companies such as Volkswagen, Directv, Sony Electronics, ESPN, SCE, and A&E. As Head of Entertainment Marketing for Volkswagen AG, Jonathan managed its multi-million dollar partnership with NBC Universal, putting together turnkey promotional opportunities for the VW dealership network worldwide. He has also positioned and launched two major Hispanic cable networks: ESPN Deportes and mun2 (now NBCUniverso).
Jonathan has put together major promotional products programs for clients spanning different major brands and industries such as: SoCal Gas, Cremo Brand, Raleigh Enterprises/Sunset Marquis Hotel, Sanrio’s Hello Kitty, Marvel, EA Sports, and Warner Bros. He has been able to bring his client-side perspective and international marketing background to proactively provide solutions to help increase a brand's awareness and equity.
A graduate of Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania Jonathan holds a B.A. in Literature and Cultural Anthropology as well as a MBA in International Marketing from Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management in Glendale, Arizona. He has lived and studied in Venezuela and Spain and is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese. When not chasing around his two young boys, Jonathan loves tennis, hiking and experiencing different countries and cultures.
